Thirteen Things

I'm feeling random and it's Thursday and thirteen starts with a 'th,' so there you go. Plus, I need something to take my mind off of my bum leg (yep, still ouchy).

13 - The Muppet starts every morning with a request for something to drink and to watch 'The Muppet Show.' (like bad parents, we oblige)

12 - There is travel in my future...Go State!

11 - I've been a cooking machine lately; which reminds me, there are brownies at the house. YES!

10 - Every once in a while I love ATL, today is one of those days. It's cool and sunny and perfectly lovely. After 4 straight months in the 90s I was ready to lose my mind...thankful for the break in the weather.

9 - My feet swell a ridiculous amount around 9 miles. Before 9 miles I can wear a size 9.5...after that I'm begging for a size 10. This is problematic...and I know I can't be alone in this...anyone else have stupid swelling feet?

8 - I've read 14 books this year and still have 22 to go to reach my goal of 36 for the year. This goal didn't seem that challenging when I started...I am determined to read at least another 12 before December 31, 2011. Mark my words bookworms.

7 - Lucky #7? I wouldn't mind a new pair of Lucky jeans.

6 - My new coworker told me the other day how nice it was to work with someone that loved their job...I'm not sure how I contained my laughter. I would like to thank my dance teachers and my mom for teaching me how to act. :)

5 - 'Tis the season for babies and I have a couple of blogger buddies that are due in the next weeks and months. So excited to see these ladies become moms!!!!!

4 - Speaking of moms, I need to call mine.

3 - The smile on Muppet's face when I get him out of the car at home...pretty much the best thing ever. Between his happiness and the dog's exuberance at my arrival - I feel like a rockstar.

2 - The husband has been putting up with a lot of my crap the last couple of weeks (and the last decade). He deserves an award. 10 years ago THIS MONTH we met. Love.

1 - One more day, one more dawn, one day more. Go listen to the soundtrack from Les Miserables. Which reminds me, I need to brush up on my french.

Abientot mes amies!
