Tales of a Neglectful Blogger

I admit it. I'm neglectful of my blog. Frankly, it's kind of boring me. What do you all want to know about? What a haphazard runner I've been, the latest exploits in parenthood, how I still can't afford to quit my job because I can't/won't give up Starbucks (which is NOT exactly the underlying reasons that I remain employed)?

I could regale you of tales of pregnancy and loss. I could tell you a lot of those stories this year (current count is 3 for the year). There is the story of me trying to lose a few pounds, but am I really committed to this goal? (The answer is a resounding YES by the way)

There are holidays on the horizon and I want to SPEND $$ that I do not have (and some that I do). There are recipes in my purse, complete with ingredient lists so that I am ready to head to the store at any minute and begin my Christmas extravaganza!

I could tell you that I finally bought a pair of jeans that fit...mostly. If they were an inch longer they would be perfect.

I could tell you of the exploits of Aaron Burr and the aftermath of the Washington presidency since that's the book currently sitting on my nightstand.

If I weren't a neglectful blogger I could tell you all of that and so much more. Like how sweet my kid is lately in spite of his 2-yr molars. And how much I love watching the dog sleep next to me. And how proud I am of my husband for doing everything he can to get us headed north.

All of these things I could tell you...and I suppose I just did. ;)
