I am currently walking the line of 'holy hell I'm exhausted' and 'I am so slovenly, I need to workout this minute.' Dangerous, fatigue inducing territory to any active mom out there. At 4 weeks post partum I am getting there. Figuring out how to deal with a newborn again (why must children vary so much?!). Of course we've been in constant motion for the last month and I'm ready to just STOP for a minute...or 5. And so, I fight the urge to lace up my running shoes and 'sprint' down our new street (it wouldn't resemble a sprint AT ALL) and allow myself to collapse onto the couch.
I'll hit the workouts hard again...after the growth spurts slow down.

Be patient! It's only been 4 weeks. You'll get back to it, and you'll be stronger than ever. Meanwhile, enjoy what you have now -- a beautiful newborn baby.
I seriouly don't even know how you are managing to put up a post. I am truly STUNNED at what you went through these last few months - enduring a summer pregnancy, packing, having a baby, moving across the country, unpacking - and with a new born and another child!!! It's insane, A. Literally. Insane. You are a crazy rock star. And I mean that in he nicest, most awe-strck way.
I admire the way you are managing things along with the baby. Patience is definitely important in handling a newborn baby.
